The Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (Imaa) of the National Research Council of Italy has been granted, as leader, a new contract for a duration of four years and a total cost of 1.8 million euros within the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), which is implemented by ECMWF on behalf of the European Commission. The contract was signed on 15th October with the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) in the framework of the collection and processing services of in situ observations with the aim to facilitate the access to and the harmonization of in situ observations from global baseline and reference networks, and comprehensive upper-air observations
