STUPIRE

The CNR-DSSTTA STUPIRE - Scientific Transdisciplinary Unexplored Paths for Innovative Research on Environment call finances transdisciplinary research proposals on four themes: Resources, Territories, Relations and Changes. The call and subsequent acts are available on the CNR urp page
The Department has issued the notice STUPIRE – Scientific Transdisciplinary Unexplored Paths for Innovative Research on Environment, with which it intends to promote excellent and original research paths, with the involvement of institutes belonging to different departmental macro-areas. The activities will be financed with the resources of the FOE CAPITALE NATURALE project, for the development of transdisciplinary research proposals on the following topics:
- Resources: from territorial resources to strategic autonomy (abiotic and biotic resources, resilience, competitiveness, regulatory aspects, external relations, etc.)
- Territories: the integrated and sustainable management of urban and non-urban areas, and their contexts (public goods, natural resource economy and knowledge economy)
- Relationships: ecosystem health and the balance between man and the environment (scales, dynamics, processes, indicators and precursors, emergent properties, essential variables and weak signals)
- Changes: preparing for, managing and adapting to unwanted changes related to or resulting from environmental aspects (crises, emergencies, priorities, relationships and contexts, capacity building)
The projects have a duration of two years and a maximum funding of €200,000.00.
