Gaia Blu is the National Research Council’s main research vessel. Its instrumentation allows for geological, oceanographic, biological, and atmospheric studies in the Mediterranean Sea and the ocean, including the polar regions.

Testa Grigia Research Station
Testa Grigia Research Station, located in Plateau Rosà, is a climate and environmental observation center, specialized in measurements of aerosols, CO₂, methane and cosmic radiation. Founded in 1948 for the study of cosmic rays, today it also hosts studies on greenhouse gases and black carbon, with a focus on climate change.
