The environment can be studied and understood by integrating measurements and modeling approach. <\/span>The Department combines both approaches, but its standout activity lies in the remote and in situ collection of environmental data across the country. This includes measurements in the atmosphere, on soils and in urban centers, and in coastal and marine areas, including the deep sea.<\/span><\/p>\n
