LTER-Italy is one of the twenty-six Long-Term Ecological Research networks that make up the European Network (LTER-Europe) e afferisce alla Rete LTER Internazionale (ILTER). It aims to monitor, analyse and understand changes and alterations in ecosystems, both natural and human-induced, at local and global scales.
