The research activities in Antarctica are carried out within the ‘Programma nazionale di ricerche in Antartide’ (Pnra), promoted and financed by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (Miur).
The logistic execution is entrusted by the National agency for new technologies, energy and the sustainable economic development (Enea). The scientific coordination is controlled by Cnr, National Research Council.
