As part of the APhRICA program (Advanced Physics tRaining and Collaboration with Africa), the first workshop dedicated to Density Functional Theory (DFT) was held in Nairobi from June 30 to July 11. Promoted by CNR-ISM, the event was organized within the framework of the “Physics Without Frontiers” program of the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP). The workshop took place at the Technical University of Kenya (TU-K) and was attended by students from ICTP-EAIFR in Kigali as well as from other African universities. Read More
